Manchester is one of the cities that participate in iSPEX-EU 2015. We welcome you to join its local campaign and measure Manchester skies from 1 September to 15 October!
Local campaign activities
The University of Manchester (Univ. Manchester) is leading the local campaign activities, working closely with the Institute of Physics (IOP), also founding partner for the International Year of Light (IYL) and coordinator of its activities across the UK, the Science & Technology Facilities Council, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (STFC-RAL), and the iSPEX team at Leiden University in the Netherlands.
How can I join?
If you would like to take part, please contact the Manchester team on firstname.lastname@example.org. Please remember that you currently need an iPhone 4, 4S, 5 or 5S to take part.
Whilst the app walks you through when best to perform a measurement, we will also be selecting a few evenings when the weather is really good to coordinate simultaneous measurements. If you want to be notified about these events then please indicate so in your email. You can also follow the official Twitter account @ispex_eu and the Manchester campaign with #Manchester.
When the project is complete and all the data is crunched, we will be holding some talks open to everyone who is interested, reporting on how the project went and what we have learnt.
If you have any questions, please contact us on email@example.com. You can also follow the project on Twitter @ispex_eu, and the Manchester campaign with #Manchester.
